Spiritual Advisor: Guru Marley Bob
JAY EINBENDER: AUTHOR. CHIEF EXPERIENCE OFFICER. TEAM LEADER.
Jay is Author, Chief Experience Officer, Team Leader and Visionary behind "HEART First™": the World’s First “Experiential eBook” (“ExBook” for short).
Jay has dedicated his life looking forward to being a "Cancer Patient Experience Advocate". He's using HEART First as his voice, proof of vision and to launch a global Movement.
To launch his Movement, Jay's seamlessly linked HEART First to its own 501c3 non-profit, "HEART-1st"; his action network for leading the charge for change in the way cancer is respected and treated - elevating mind and soul treatment to its rightful place - alongside body treatment - starting at point of diagnosis. Until this happens cancer patients, and the people in their caring support, are suffering unduly, unfairly experiencing a decreased quality of life.
Jay never chose to become expert in suffering and its relief, nor did he expect to dedicate the rest of his life to making a difference around this cause. But the hard truth - cancer chooses you, not the other way around - throwing you and your loved ones defenseless and powerless into unfamiliar and hostile territory without warning.
Since May 10th, 2012, Jay's spent over 2 million minutes (5+ years) of his life suffering through and learning about the varying degrees and types of pain, stress and exhaustion 3 cancer diagnoses, their treatments and survivorship cause. It’s amazing Jay’s still alive. During that same time period 70+ million souls have suffered and passed from the various individual diseases and their treatments he was collectively diagnosed with and survived: Colon Cancer (Stage 3, then 4), Skin Cancer, Advanced Heart Disease (6 stents), Late Adult onset Type 1 Diabetes and Leukopenia (white blood cell disorder). Jay looks great from the outside but inside he's a messy work of art!
In other words … Jay’s being alive today is akin to him having won the lottery. He's now passing forward the gift of what he's learned.
Seeking ways to cope with and find relief from the acute physical, mindful and soulful pain and stress a cancer diagnosis and its treatments bring - chemotherapy, addictive painkillers, prescription drugs, opioids, with harmful side effects, and excruciatingly painful rehabs from surgeries - he began an immediate search for holistic means to relieve his distress. His research pinpointed the Therapeutics Arts as his answer - only to find, for a variety of reasons, they weren't easily accessible or available when he needed them most.
Jay's using the gift of continued life to take the tools he used for his own coping and relief, and pass them forward as a way to do good in the world.
To that point HEART First is the world's 1st "Buy-1-Gift-1" App; for every App sold the App is gifted to a cancer patient undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments who otherwise couldn't afford its purchase. All they need is an electronic device to download and view the App on.
Interestingly, HEART First was a project that chose Jay, not the other way around. Thanks to his acting on a series of intuitions he experienced 11/11/11, a full 6 months before his first cancer diagnosis, the seed of what was to become HEART First was unwittingly planted in his being. It's a mind-blowing story recounted in PART I of this 3 Part project.
Case-hardened medical odds-makers are still scratching their heads as to why Jay’s not buried 6 feet under. At the very least, clinically depressed and suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Quite the opposite, Jay feels and looks 58 years young, measured by thriving, physically, mindfully and soulfully together with having found peace with the knowledge his life’s time, given all his health issues, could end any moment.
His doctors, using more humane wording than odds-makers use, describe his current health situation 3 ways:
(1) A medical marvel
(2) A medical mess internally, and
(3) A man using mind over matter to not just beat long odds, but thrive.
In the absence of measurable proof, sensing Jay had a secret edge up his sleeve, his doctors cautioned him, with utmost seriousness, to never lose what was secretly giving him his mind over matter edge and peaceful demeanor.
What they sensed was real. Jay did have a secret edge of his own making, it was the project he was creating, “HEART First” - a relief sanctuary he’d been visiting daily, still does, and always will.
However, refining his "secret edge" was a patient process for Jay; a 5-year labor of love, learning and relearning and perseverance.
“HEART First” is the self-help, self-empowerment product Jay could’ve only wished – as it didn’t exist - was gifted him or he could’ve gifted himself.
Jay affectionately refers to “HEART First” as his “BVFF”, short for “Best Virtual Friend Forever”.
Like it was for Jay, “HEART First” can be every person’s coping and relief lifeline no matter what their health challenge might be.
